Amber got her start cleaning banks commercially at the age of 17 in the evening hours. After being a stay-at-home mom for a few years, Amber was ready to get back to work. Amber and her husband, Arturo, also decided he was ready to leave the military after 10 years and a tour of service. This is when they relocated to Longmont, CO from Illinois in 2014, and Amber started cleaning houses for a few friends she met in the area. Before she knew it, word of mouth had spread and took off from there! Hiring our first employee in 2017 we now have a small team of amazing cleaners!

While we pride ourselves on being a non-toxic company, we were not always so! We, like many, used the traditional cleaning chemicals we have all grown up seeing in stores. Until one day when cleaning a bathroom with a well-known mildew and mold cleaner, Amber began coughing and choking profusely. Eventually getting very sick, she was forced to leave the home and seek medical attention. Later finding out she had inhalation poisoning, she was terrified for the longevity of her heath in this business. Realizing the amount of toxins in our everyday cleaners Amber knew she had to make a change, and thus, Nature’s Choice Cleaning was born!
